This recipe is a new one for me because, despite having two, I haven’t used a dutch oven before! Nor made this meal, of course. These are so comforting, and delicious. And you can really make it stretch, especially if you add beans.
Of course, I have made chocolate peanut butter cookies before. Of course. But I have never made chocolate peanut butter cookies without flour, or butter. Or any cookie without flour or butter, for that matter. These cookies are gluten free, and they are marvelous.
In my apartment, I make a lot of meals that are best categorized as “things on toast.”
Fall is here! Well, sort of – it’s 75 degrees today, rainy, and the leaves had barely begun to change before the wet dreariness started pulling them off their branches. Fall is nearly everyone’s favorite season, isn’t it? It’s the gentle reprieve from the endless humidity of summer, and the last moment of lightness before every curbside and crevice is packed with heavy snow. And it’s so short and sweet – it never overstays its welcome – which always makes a good thing better.
